RESPONSE TO VOLUNTEERING & LO-FI STITCH ASMR

During the presentation Lindy did on the day Grace and I volunteered with the handling of archival pieces, I took some notes as well as did some quick sketches!
Me and Grace decided to volunteer to help out at Touching Stitches handling session where we would be overseeing archival pieces as people looked at them, and tell them a bit more information on them!
On a beautiful sunny Saturday, I went out to visit the May Morris Exhibition at the Dovecot! I find blog exhibition posts particularly tricky to do, because I always take thousands of photos than feel overwhelmed when I have to post them all! My phone camera has a very high resolution too, so it means I individually resize every photograph uploaded on this blog. The more you know!
The Needlework Development Scheme was created in order to loan out textile pieces to the universities and inspire the students who would them become teachers which overall sold more thread.
This is going to be a long post! Documenting what I learned while on our fieldwork trip to Glasgow University, or more specifically, what the heading of this post says!
