Created a siren song loop using a loop pedal and siren effects. Inspired by the Greek mythology story, I wanted to recreate this sense allure and also fear that the sirens are described to create. The piece gradually moves from minor notes into major, the ebbing drift into the state of mind the men eventually succumb to, pure ecstasy, a state which embodies their reaching of ultimate prophetic knowledge which the sirens claim to posses. Knowledge of the Gods. The cycle of sound connects, washing over the experience of the ecstasy to sing for the next set of sailers they try to seduce with their song.
