Recently I’ve been walking around Edinburgh and taking photographs, and looking at my old photographs from Venice and places I’ve travelled to in Asia. I’ve been trying to sell them as stock images online and have been creating a following on Instagram. I like doing this because I don’t really have to think about any concept but it can use the photos as research for my video collages.
I’m also planning to collaborate with a friend who I met online. We’re both interested in making a film and photography series featuring queer people of all different backgrounds. We’re planning on doing online interviews with various queer people and use the sound in the film. The film will be inspired by Charlotte Prodger’s films. We are planning on going to different rural places in Scotland and filming nature and people – as well as taking photographs along the way. This will explore the concept of the voice and queer identity in places you don’t expect.
