study of decaying structure – material experiment – I know I cannot use the physalis itself, too delicate to manipulate. So I wanted to imitate it, using portions of it (clay, wire and physalis shell)

I took these from old stone walls in Harris – object that forms in derelict places, fills the gaps and voids. similar natural structures to physalis
