Personal Tutors (PTs) are required to meet their tutees at the beginning of each semester. Students should be invited at these times to arrange a meeting time.
PT’s are expected to confirm attendance at the start of the year, register students on courses, provide academic guidance and a route to pastoral care. A first meeting prompt form is linked below.
Once you have met with a tutee, this should be recorded in the EUCLID Meetings/Notes section. Additionally, students on a Tier 4 visa should have an engagement point added to EUCLID.

The Student Support Team (SST) are available to assist PTs with helping distressed students, pastoral care issues, transfers, concessions, interruptions and withdrawals. They are also best placed as a first point of contact for the miscellaneous queries that a student might have.
