Informatics Personal Tutor Guide

A quick guide to Personal Tutor information for Informatics staff

Course Registration

This can be navigated to via the student’s EUCLID record or by the My Tutees section of the Personal Tutor page in EUCLID.


  • Navigate to the student’s EUCLID record and select the Assessment section from the panel on the left,  AND
  • Click on the Edit box (with a pencil icon) on the right side (adjacent to the Courses title);
    • OR
  • Navigate to the My Tutees page and select the More button next to the appropriate tutee, then select Edit Course Enrolments option
  • If adding course registration for the first time this year, select DPT validated Course Enrolment. If editing existing course choices, select Edit Course Enrolments
  • Select the current academic year and Continue
  • Select Add course
  • Enter name of course or course code in the select course box
  • Click Add

To withdraw/remove a course:

  • Navigate to the Assessment section of a student’s EUCLID record as above
  • Select Edit Course Enrolments
  • Select the current academic year and Continue
  • Select the radio button next to the course you wish to remove and click on Cancel/Withdraw Course
  • To see updated course enrolments on the assessment tab, click Refresh in the top right hand corner of the screen

NOTE: If a UG1/2/3 student is being permitted to progress or repeat a year carrying a compulsory/core course, this will be added to the student’s record by the Student Support Team. The Student Support Team will advise the Personal Tutor via EUCLID Meetings/Notes of any additional optional credits the student must take and the PT can complete the course enrolment for the student.
