What can I do to improve my chances of getting a job?

Week 1 of the new academic year is just round the corner. Some of you will be entering a new year of your studies and others just starting out on your first (hello there, #Freshers!).

Whatever year you’re in, there will be something you can be doing now to enhance your chances of getting a great job after you graduate – however far away, or however  frighteningly close, that seems!

Here’s a recruiter’s tip:

“To learn more about your talents and capabilities, our interviewers will ask you about your past experiences and accomplishments. This could include any past experiences, during internships and at university but also outside of university, such as associations, sports, travel and of course work experience.”

Emma Lau, P&G

And if it all seems too overwhelming don’t worry, we’ve broken it down into a handy year by year guide!  Take a look, whether you’re first year, finalist or in-between.

Have a great year!
